Kathmandu,A formal meeting was held between Ramprasad Padya, President of NRNA,Non-Resident NepaliAssociation(Nepalese community) South Sudan, and Chandrakuwer Khapung, Inspector General of Nepal Police (IGP).
The meeting took place at the Nepal Police Headquarters in Naxal, Kathmandu. During the discussion, the current situation in South Sudan, the security and performance of Nepali police and army personnel deployed for peacekeeping, were reviewed.
President Padya also shared information regarding the Nepali community and non-resident Nepalis residing in South Sudan and their security concerns.
Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthen mutual cooperation and coordination during the meeting.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of greetings and best wishes between President Padya and IGP Khapung.
