Doha. The renowned singer of Nepal and the former president of the National Folk Song Foundation of Nepal, Badri Pangeni, secretary Jeevan Dahal and the senior vice president of the Gandaki Province Coordination Committee within the foundation, Maya Gurung, have been honored by the prestigious The Tunnel Lodge and Club in Qatar.
The artists who came to Doha for the mass cultural program of Prawasi Nepali Mancha were honored by the Doha-based club with certificates and clothes.
The club is managed by Nepali businessmen and has received the classification of ‘A’ label from the Qatar Tourism Board.
Club director Ramesh K.C., manager Suraj Sharma Adhikari, Manch president Prabhat Tripathi, Qatar Foundation president Shivram Dhakal and Qatari Nepali businessman Zawindra Acharya jointly honored them. Deepjung Shah was the facilitator of the event.
